Most Dota series are best of three. These are the markets you will use most. The odds below are examples, not live prices.

Match Winner

You pick who wins the series. There is no draw in a Bo3. If OG are 2.50 against a favourite, ₱400 on OG returns ₱1,000.

Map Handicap

The underdog starts with a head start in maps. OG +1.5 maps at 1.70 wins if OG take at least one map; ₱500 returns ₱850. The favourite at −1.5 has to win 2–0. If handicaps are new to you, this handicap explainer shows how a line settles.

Kills and objectives

You can bet on total kills in a map (over or under a line like 45.5), first blood, first tower, or the first Roshan. First blood and first tower settle early in a game, so they are quick bets.

Tournament Outright Winner

You back a team to win the whole event before it starts. The odds are long, and your money is tied up until the final.

Live betting on Dota 2

Dota 2 is five against five, and each team is trying to destroy the other team's Ancient. A game swings on fights and on Roshan, so live odds change fast.

The calmer moments to bet live are between fights, or before the game starts. Some popular live markets:

  • Match Winner: The series winner, at a price that moves after every map.
  • Map Winner: The winner of the map being played now.
  • Map Total Kills: Over or under a kill line for the current map.
  • Next Roshan or next tower: Who takes the next big objective.

A stream can run behind the actual game, so do not try to beat the market on a fight you just watched.

Dota 2 events to bet on, and the PH scene

The International is still the big one. TI 2026 was held in Shanghai from 13 to 23 August, with 16 teams and a prize pool of US$3,906,263. Team Spirit won it, beating TEAM VISION in the final. The year before, Team Falcons won in Hamburg.

The Filipino side of it: OG qualified by winning the Southeast Asia qualifier with an all-Filipino lineup. Natsumi (John Anthony Vargas), Yopaj (Erin Jasper Ferrer), Raven (Marc Polo Luis Fausto), TIMS (Timothy John Randrup) and skem (Rolen Andrei Gabriel Ong). They finished 14th–15th. TI also had a Filipino-language broadcast, one of several language streams.

Outside TI, the calendar is run by independent organisers. As of 28 September 2026:

  • BLAST Slam VIII, 29 September to 11 October. OG play BetBoom Team on Wednesday 30 September at 6:00 p.m. PHT.
  • BLAST Slam IX, 20 to 29 November.
  • DreamLeague Season 30, 2 to 13 December.

Next year PGL Wallachia, DreamLeague and ESL One return, with ESL One Europe in April 2027.
