Esports Betting Sites for Filipino Fans

MLBB, Dota 2, Valorant and CS2: where to bet, and what to bet on.

By PhilippinesBetting Editorial Team9 min read

This country doesn't just watch esports, it wins them. Filipino teams have lifted the Mobile Legends world title several times, and MPL PH fills arenas and stream chats twice a year. So it makes sense that esports is the second thing many Filipino bettors check after the PBA.

Below: the books we rate for esports, the games and tournaments with the deepest markets, how odds pay out in pesos, and how to get money in and out with GCash. Betting is for adults 21 and over.

Before Your First Esports Bet

Esports markets work like any other sport: pick a match, pick a market, place the stake. What's different is how fast things change. A new patch can turn a strong team ordinary overnight, and rosters move between seasons, so last month's form counts for less than it would in basketball.

Three things to sort out first. You need to be 21 or older. You need a book that actually covers the game you follow, since many only list the biggest international events. And you should know how that book pays out: every review on this site lists its cash-in and cash-out options, and our legal betting guide shows what to check before you deposit.

How to Bet on eSports Online

Choose Your Game

Esports covers very different games: team MOBAs like MLBB, Dota 2 and League of Legends, shooters like Valorant and Counter-Strike 2. Start with the one you actually play or watch. You'll spot a bad price much faster in a game you understand.

Be Mindful of Events

eSports has multiple events going on simultaneously. You decide whether you want to wager on a single possibility or a combination of outcomes. Choose the leagues that you care about so that you can easily keep track of the teams and games that interest you.

Study the Market

A favourite at 1.15 is rarely worth it: one throw in a single team fight and your slip is gone. Look at map handicaps or totals instead, compare the price at two books, and check the patch notes and the confirmed lineups before a big match. Stand-ins happen more often in esports than in any other sport.

Three Books We Rate for Esports

These three have the widest esports lists among the books we cover. The full ranking is in the list at the top of the page.

22Bet

One of the earliest online bookmakers, the site has been functioning since 1997. There’s no way 22Bet would have lasted this long if it wasn’t secure. 22Bet is headquartered in Cyprus. It’s a trusted online gambling destination. On 22Bet, your money is safe, so you can confidently make deposits and play games.

1xBet

The Cyprus-based company employs more than 5,000 people in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The wide variety of sports available for wagering on the site, with a particular emphasis on cricket, draws in many new consumers. It accepts a vast array of payment methods from around the world and claims to have the most pre-match and in-play markets available.

GGBet

Esports leads the menu at GGBet. On 28 September 2026, the esports list on gg.bet ran from Counter-Strike and Dota 2 to League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Overwatch and Valorant. That range is the reason it's on this page. 21+ only, and only bet what you can afford to lose.

Each review covers the book's payment options and bonus terms, so you can compare them before you deposit.

Useful Tips for eSports Betting

To make the most of eSports betting in the Philippines, follow these simple tips:

  • Bettors using any sports betting site should familiarize themselves thoroughly with the site’s terms and conditions.
  • Check each site’s track record and read its terms;
  • Before putting money into a site of this type, make sure you read customer evaluations on the internet.
  • Gamblers in the Philippines can benefit from signing up with a betting site that caters to their needs.

Live Betting on eSports

Live

eSports is an organized video gaming competition where competitive video gaming takes center stage. This event involves signing up various pro gamers and teams for a tournament style event, contesting against each other for titles or cash prizes.

Similar to traditional sports events, upsets equally happen in eSports events, with player predictions going wrong due to a number of factors. With eSports live betting, players have the chance to offset their losing bets by placing new bets that are based on the current game progression.

Some popular live betting options to check out include;

  • Player Prop Bets: Betting on specific in-game achievements by individual players, such as the number of kills, assists, or deaths they will have during a match.
  • Real-time Score Bets: Betting on the current score of the game, such as which team is leading at a specific moment or the score difference.
  • Map Winner: Betting on the winner of a specific map or game within a series. This can be especially exciting in best-of-three or best-of-five series, as each map has its own odds.

The events with the most markets, in the order Filipino bettors care about them:

  • MPL PH: two seasons a year, regular season then playoffs. Match winner, map handicap and total maps are the usual markets.
  • M-series World Championship: MLBB's world title, where PH teams usually start as favourites. Outright winner markets open weeks before.
  • The International: Dota 2's world championship. Expect deep in-play markets on every map.
  • League of Legends World Championship: every October to November, with first blood, first dragon and total kills on top of the match result.
  • VCT Champions: the end of Valorant's season. Map winner and round handicap are the markets to learn.

How Esports Odds Pay Out

Two formats, same maths. Most books here show decimal by default, and our guide to how betting odds work converts one into the other.

Fractional Odds

Fractional odds show your profit against your stake. At 2/5 you win ₱2 for every ₱5 you bet, so ₱500 returns ₱700: ₱200 profit plus your ₱500 back. At 2/7, ₱700 returns ₱900. Most books let you switch to decimal in the settings, which makes comparing prices easier.

Decimal Odds

Decimal odds include your stake: multiply the two and you have your total return. ₱500 on a favourite at 1.80 returns ₱900, which is ₱400 profit. ₱500 on an underdog at 7.00 returns ₱3,500, which is ₱3,000 profit.

Esports on Your Phone

Apps

Most esports bets here go on from a phone, often with the stream open in another app. These three handle that best. Our betting apps guide explains how to install them safely.

20Bet

20Bet runs on a mobile browser or its app, and the esports section loads quickly even on a weak signal. Accumulator fans get extra offers here. Live esports coverage is lighter than at 22Bet, so it works better for pre-match bets.

22Bet

22Bet's app puts live streaming and in-play esports on one screen, so you can watch the map you're betting on. It's the one to install if you mostly bet live.

Paripesa

Paripesa has apps for both Android and iOS, and one-click betting, which helps when the odds on a team fight are moving fast. The downside: odds changes on live events are easy to miss, so double-check the price on your slip.

Payment Methods for eSports Betting

When it comes to payments, you may use any of the following:

GCash

Made for Filipinos by Filipinos, GCash  is an extremely popular payment app in the Philippines. It is fast and secure, and every bookmaker in the country permits its use.

Visa

You should consider Visa eSports betting first if you intend to utilize a bank account in conjunction with a debit or credit card.

MasterCard

MasterCard is known and accepted the world over, so you will never run into problems with your transactions if you use this method.

Skrill

Skrill  eSports betting is one of the most alluring possibilities available inside the realm of virtual betting.

FAQ. Frequently Asked Questions

  • 💡 Is online betting in the Philippines safe?

It can be, if you pick the book with care, and nobody under 21 may bet. How safe a given book is comes down to its terms, its security and how it pays out. Each of our reviews covers those, and our legal betting guide walks you through the checks in four steps.
  • 💡 Is eSports betting common?

Very. Esports is one of the most bet-on categories among Filipino players after basketball, driven by MLBB, and most international sportsbooks now carry at least Dota 2, CS2 and Valorant.
  • 💡 Are there welcome bonuses?

Yes, most sportsbooks give one on your first deposit. Check whether esports bets count toward the wagering before you take it.
  • 💡 Which currency is most common?

The Philippine Peso is the unit of currency here. This money is widely accepted for deposits and withdrawals at local casinos from eSports bets on PayPal.
  • 💡 Can I withdraw from international banks?

Most places will accept international debit and credit cards, and these are often the preferred methods of payment.
